These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ForagePilot application and services. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ForagePilot provides farm management tools including fodder flow planning, cattle finishing calculations, ration building, and stock management. The service is provided as-is and is intended as a decision-support tool — not as a substitute for professional agricultural advice.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- One person may not share an account with multiple users. Each user requires their own account.
- You must be 18 years or older to use ForagePilot.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
- ForagePilot offers free (Starter) and paid (Pro, Enterprise) subscription tiers.
- Payments are processed securely by PayFast. ForagePilot does not store your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.
4. Your Data
- You retain ownership of all farm data you enter into the App.
- You grant ForagePilot a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
- We do not use your farm data for any purpose other than operating ForagePilot.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access another user's data or account.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App.
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable South African law.
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
ForagePilot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that calculations produced by the App are accurate or suitable for your specific farming conditions. Always verify critical decisions with a qualified agricultural advisor.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForagePilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the App, including any loss of livestock, feed, or farm income.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
